CONVENTION BETWEEN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PIANORO AND THE "TERRITORY AND CIVILIZATION OF CRAFTS" ASSOCIATION

Given:

that the Association "Territory and Civilization of Professions" is registered in the Register of Associations of the Municipality of Pianoro;

that the Municipality of Pianoro, intending to promote and enhance its historical and cultural heritage, pays particular attention to all the testimonies of the material culture linked to the territory;

that the collection of objects and furnishings by Mr. Pietro Lazzarini represents, in terms of quality and quantity, a remarkable collection of testimonies, long since disappeared, relating to the agricultural work of the medium plain and the Bolognese mountain, as well as the exercise of multiple craft activities, as well as the use of furnishings and furnishings of local daily life;

that the value of Mr. Pietro Lazzarini's collection was formally recognized by the Institute for the Natural and Cultural Artistic Heritage of the Emilia Romagna Region following an inspection carried out on 22 April 2002;

that Mr. Pietro Lazzarini communicated to the Municipality of Pianoro, on 11/03/02, his will to make his collection available to the community;

which in the Municipality of Pianoro, in via Ligabue 3, has the headquarters and works of the Association "Territory and Civilization of Crafts", aimed at promoting the research, recovery and conservation of cultural heritage and in particular to safeguard and enhance the collection of Mr. Pietro Lazzarini;

that the Municipality of Pianoro recognizes the cultural value of the activity that the Association "Territory and Civilization of Crafts" intends to carry out, emphasizing its relevance in the cultural fabric of the territory

the MUNICIPALITY OF PIANORO, legally represented by the Coordinator of the Social Area Gianalberto Cavazza

and

the "TERRITORY AND CIVILIZATION OF CRAFTS" ASSOCIATION, legally represented by its President Prof. Osvaldo Gambassi

the following is agreed and stipulated:

The Municipality of Pianoro undertakes:

a) to support the Association's activities also with other bodies or institutions responsible for the conservation and enhancement of cultural heritage;

b) to support, in the forms and ways it deems most appropriate, specific projects that the Association intends to carry out in order to give adequate visibility to the material collected and to be collected;

c) to support all activities relating to the research, recovery and cataloging of material of historical interest relating to the civilization of the trades;

d) to support with particular interest the work inherent in the recovery, cataloging and enhancement of the collection that Mr. Pietro Lazzarini has made available to the community;

e) to grant patronage to the activity of the Association, authorizing the use of the logo / brand of the Municipality in the promotional and communication material produced by the Association; material that before publication must be viewed by the Councilor responsible for the topic.

The Association "Territory and Civilization of Crafts" undertakes:

a) to define specific projects for the dissemination and promotion of local material culture, in close collaboration with the Municipality of Pianoro and with the involvement of the school world and any public and private subjects;

b) to provide, on an annual basis, a punctual report on the activity carried out, on the projects carried out, as well as on the objectives still to be achieved;

c) to give, for appropriate communication of the institutional support and recognition granted to it by the Municipality of Pianoro, adequate visibility of the brand / logo of the Municipality itself in all the promotional material, citing their collaboration in all the locations and places where it will carry out its own activities; all this also for the purpose of a more effective tourism promotion;

d) to carry out all that is possible for the enhancement of the Lazzarini collection / collection, and to find, for this purpose, the necessary economic and professional resources.
